Stats
PIT Data Stats combines detailed summary statistics from the PIT tagged test subjects to an Excel workbook with multiple separate analysis views (worksheets):
-
Aggregate:
What portion of time did each subject stay on each antenna within each hour?
-
Activity:
How many times did each subject move around from antenna to another within each hour?
-
Occurrence:
What portion of time did each subject stay on any of the antennas?
-
Overview:
How many antennas did the subject visit during each hour?
Stats provides fast access to a full set of common statistics that are so often useful but also cumbersome to create. And straight to a nicely formatted Excel table!
Quick run of the features
-
Choose detail level
By default, Stats constructs minute-level statistics for each hour. You can also choose to construct even more detail, counting seconds for each minute. Just note that the resulting Excel sheets will be pretty big.
-
Visual helpers
Stats can add red markers to show you which antenna the subject most lately visited for the intervals when there were no detections. This becomes quickly useful when dealing with a large table and less active test subjects.
-
Nice formatting
PIT Data Stats automatically adds small details to help your work. For example, the Excel worksheets have their panes frozen to always show all relevant header information and cells without detections are greyed out for better readability.
-
Statistics both per antenna and per subject
Stats also constructs additional tables to show test subject specific statistics.
